“Maine Is Failing Its Citizens”: Primary Election Day Is Here

Our public policies should be directed at doing the greatest good for the greatest number. In this regard, Maine is failing its citizens. We must make a renewed effort to address the needs of the homeless, to rededicate ourselves to providing the best possible care for our veterans, to rebuild our infrastructure, to provide for the elderly and never again neglect the needs of the youngest among us. When our legislators become wrapped up in themselves, it is the people who elected them who suffer. It is long past time for this practice to stop. There is much to be done. We can no longer afford to doubt ourselves by not doing what we know is right. So make sure you head to the polls on June 14, 2016 and let your voices be heard.

Richard A. Evans, MD, Candidate, Maine House District 120
